Run cpuminer on the Raspberry Pi

First, we download cpuminer to mine on the ARM-based Raspberry Pi
1: Install the compilation environment:

 sudo apt-get install gcc g++ libstdc++-8-dev libpcre3-dev libcurl3-dev make

2: Download the cpuminer software and unzip it

 wget https://github.com/pooler/cpuminer/releases/download/v2.5.0/pooler-cpuminer-2.5.0.tar.gz
  tar zxvf pooler-cpuminer-2.5.0.tar.gz

3: Compile:

  cd cpuminer-2.5.0/
 ./configure
 make
 sudo make install
 

Step 2: Start mining. First, you should register a mining pool account. After registration, follow the website instructions to create a mining pool.

Finally, enter the start command:

  minerd -o stratum+tcp://stratum-ltc.antpool.com:8888 -O zhang121900:

After the -o parameter is your mining pool address, after the -O parameter, please type your own mining machine name/password, the password can be empty

You can use the nohup command to make minerd run in the background, the command format is: nohub your command &
So we can enter: nohup minerd -o stratum+tcp://stratum-ltc.antpool.com:8888 -O zhang121900: &
